Exclusive 10-Week Performance Mentorship

Secure the Offer

A 10-week 1:1 mentorship for candidates who don't just want an IB internship — they want to perform, stand out, and convert it into a full-time offer.

What This Program Is

A 10-week 1:1 performance mentorship for the part of recruiting that decides everything — how you show up, perform, and convert during your IB internship.

Secure the Offer is built for the weeks before and during your internship. It starts before day one, so you walk in already knowing what good looks like. It continues on the desk, when pressure is real, feedback is blunt, and small mistakes compound into return-offer decisions you never see being made.

Most candidates prepare obsessively to land the internship — then improvise once they are in. This program exists for that gap. We work weekly through prep, execution, mid-internship recalibration, and the final positioning conversation. You also receive lifetime access to the full NeverBanked library and bounded WhatsApp support throughout the 10 weeks.

The mentorship is built on what I saw repeatedly during my time as a UBS staffer, line manager, and intern evaluator — including the patterns that quietly separated return-offer interns from the ones who were "doing fine". The frameworks are the same ones I used to train UBS interns inside the bank.

What You Will Achieve

By the end of the 10 weeks, you will have:

01

Walked in fully prepared

Day one with no guesswork on expectations, communication norms, or how the team operates.

02

Delivered to analyst standard

Output that meets — and exceeds — what associates and analysts expect from a strong intern.

03

Communicated with seniors cleanly

Emails, updates, and conversations with analysts, associates, and VPs that signal reliability.

04

Adapted faster than peers

Handled blunt feedback calmly and improved visibly week over week, not just at the end.

05

Built real social capital

The juniors who write your story speak about you the way you want them to in the feedback room.

06

Positioned for the offer

Set up as a clear return-offer candidate, not as someone the team is uncertain about.

Who This Program Is For

You have secured an IB internship in Switzerland (or another European market with similar standards)

You want 1:1 mentorship through the internship, not a self-paced course you'll never finish

You are willing to do the work — 10 weeks of structured execution, not just calls

You want a mentor who has staffed, line-managed, and evaluated interns at UBS

You value direct, honest feedback — including the parts you don't want to hear

Who This Program Is NOT For

You haven't secured an internship yet and need recruiting support (see Unlock Swiss IB instead)

You only need interview prep, not full internship mentorship (see Nail the Interview instead)

You want a self-paced course rather than weekly 1:1 calls (see Thrive as an Intern instead)

You expect the mentorship to do the work for you rather than guide your execution

You want encouragement over honest, sometimes uncomfortable feedback

How the 10 Weeks Are Structured

Three phases. Prepare, execute, convert.

The mentorship mirrors how interns are evaluated inside Swiss IB teams: prepare properly before day one, execute cleanly under pressure on the desk, then convert performance into a return offer. Each phase has its own focus, calls, and deliverables.

PHASE 1

Foundations & Readiness

Weeks 1–2

The pre-internship phase. We align on goals, set the standard, and build your operating system before you walk in. Two structured calls (45 min and 20 min), plus the templates and scripts you will use from day one.

What you walk away with

  • A clear performance benchmark calibrated to your team
  • The Task Intake Script you use on day one
  • Communication checklists for email, Teams, and updates
  • Folder, file, and version-control conventions
  • Personal KPIs to track yourself against from week one
Phase 1 — Foundations and Readiness

PHASE 2

Execution on the Desk

Weeks 3–6

Live execution. Weekly 20-minute strategy calls plus a 45-minute mid-point recalibration. We work through real situations as they happen — task intakes, feedback you received, slides under review, conversations that did or did not go well.

What you walk away with

  • Weekly recalibration on what is and is not landing
  • Live coaching on real tasks, emails, and slides
  • Behavioural drills for difficult senior interactions
  • Mid-point honest read on your trajectory
  • WhatsApp access for time-sensitive moments
Phase 2 — Execution on the Desk

PHASE 3

Conversion & Offer

Weeks 7–10

The closing stretch. Three weekly 20-minute calls to sharpen your final-month positioning, plus a 45-minute call dedicated entirely to the offer-conversion conversation: what to say, who to say it to, and when.

What you walk away with

  • A return-offer narrative the team will repeat
  • Final-week behaviours that decide borderline cases
  • The right conversation with the right senior at the right time
  • Handling the offer-conversion call directly
  • A long-term plan for the analyst year
Phase 3 — Conversion and Offer

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this only for candidates targeting Switzerland?
No. The mentorship is calibrated for Swiss IB teams because that is where the direct experience lies. The execution standards, communication principles, and performance frameworks transfer cleanly to other European markets such as London, Frankfurt, or Paris. Non-Swiss internships are assessed case by case during the application.
Do I need to have already started my internship?
No, and ideally not. The program works best when you join before your internship starts so we can prepare properly during weeks 1–2. If your internship has already started, that is fine — we recalibrate the structure to where you are.
How much time do I need to commit each week?
Expect 1–2 hours per week — calls, preparation, and follow-ups. The mentorship is structured to fit around the internship workload, not compete with it. The whole point is to make the work easier, not heavier.
Is this a replacement for performing well on the job?
No. The mentorship does not replace doing the work. It helps you understand what good looks like, avoid costly mistakes, and improve faster through structured feedback. The output, the late nights, and the trust-building still happen on your end.
Can I join if I haven't done any prior coaching?
Yes. Prior coaching is not required. Where foundations are missing, we cover them quickly so you can perform from day one. You also receive lifetime access to all NeverBanked online courses for any specific gaps before or during the internship.
Do you guarantee a return offer?
No, and that is intentional. Return offers depend mainly on your performance as an intern, but also on factors outside anyone's control: team culture, individual personalities, internal politics, and headcount. What I commit to is direct, honest mentorship from a former staffer, line manager, evaluator, and associate — clear standards, concrete tools, and continuous feedback. The goal is to materially increase your odds by making you a stronger, more aware, more effective intern in the reality you are placed in.
When does the program activate?
The 10-week mentorship activates on your Week 1 call, which must be scheduled within 90 days of signing the service agreement. Lifetime course access is granted immediately on signing. The program then runs over 10 consecutive weeks from the Week 1 call.
Is there a refund policy?
No. The program is non-refundable: performance begins immediately on signing through full library access and preparatory administrative work. Full terms are in the service agreement, signed before payment.
